INSTALLATION OF STRAINER AND FLANGE
STEP 1: PREP THE SINK
Remove any debris from the drain opening, ensuring
that the area is clean and dry.
STEP 2: INSTALL THE FLANGE
From above the sink, insert the Strainer Bowl (3) into
the drain opening. Press firmly to ensure an even seal.
STEP 3: ATTACH UNDER SINK COMPONENTS
STEP 4: ADD BOTTOM SEAL
Next, place the Bottom Seal (5) (rubber gasket) against the Top Seal (4).
Follow these steps to properly install your sink strainer and waste flange assembly.
From beneath the sink, slide the Top Seal (4) onto the
threaded neck of the strainer bowl until it is flush with the
underside of the sink.
STEP 5: ATTACH WASTE BOWL
Align and attach the Waste Bowl (6) onto the threaded section of the Strainer
Bowl (3). Hand-tighten it firmly.
STEP 6: INSERT AND TIGHTEN SCREW
From the top side of the sink, insert the Screw (2) through the Strainer Basket
Assembly (1) and into the center post of the Waste Bowl (6). Tighten the screw to
draw the assembly together securely. Do not overtighten, as this could crack the
seals or strip threads.
STEP 7: CHECK FOR LEAKS
Once the assembly is tight, run water into the sink and check underneath for
leaks. Tighten slightly more if needed.
