STAINLESS STEEL TOP MOUNT SINKS
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
www.buildpelican.com
Read instructions carefully before installation. Inspect sink for any damages. Do not install
damaged sink as this will void the warranty.
Pelican Int’l recommends that installation be done by a licensed professional installer.
BEFORE INSTALLATION:
Pelican recommends that sink cut-out and mounting holes be cut by the countertop
fabricator prior to installation.
Follow all local plumbing and building codes.
Pelican is not responsible for improper sink or countertop installation. Pelican is not liable for
any damages to sink, countertops, or personal injury during installation.
It is recommended installers use the actual sink for tracing cut-out if cut-out not already
done. Installers can also retrieve desired DXF files for all top mount stainless steel sinks from
our website: www.buildpelican.com.
Apply silicone caulk around the cutout in the countertop surface.
Carefully lower sink into the cutout.
Assemble the clips and screws.
The number and placement of mounting clips should be determined based on the overall
size of the sink rather than a fixed distance between clips. In general, clips should be
evenly spaced along both the length and width of the sink to ensure the basin remains
level and securely mounted. For example, a 23" x 18" sink typically requires two clips on
each long side and two on each short side, evenly distributed to keep the sink level. The
same number of clips may also be used for larger sinks, such as 32" x 18", but the spacing
between clips will naturally be wider due to the larger size.
From the top, check the seal between the sink edge and countertop. Lightly tighten clips
evenly with a screwdriver until the sink is tight to the countertop. Do not overtighten.
Wipe away excess silicone caulk.
